English for Wine Professionals & Wine Lovers is designed for self-study as well as classroom use. It provides all the necessary professional vocabulary along with pronunciation guidelines, plenty of opportunities to expand your vocabulary by offering interesting, and detailed articles from the wine industry; covering topics from The Interaction Between the Vine and the Climate to Wine and Health – What is on the Label and What is Not? One of the most interesting features of this book is its multi-channel approach to learning. By providing video links to professionals talking about their areas of expertise, the learner is exposed to authentic language, (language not designed for textbooks), which is critical for language acquisition. In order to ensure that all participants have more than enough time to speak in class, the course is limited to a minimum of four participants and a maximum of six participants.
